  • 1 scoop unflavored collagen peptides (or 10–15 g protein powder that mixes clear)
  • 200–300 mg magnesium (glycinate or citrate; follow product serving size)

  • Orange or lemon slices, for garnish
  • Fresh mint, for garnish

Instructions

  • Sprinkle in magnesium powder and collagen, then whisk or use a handheld frother until fully dissolved and smooth.
  • Stir in the sea salt or electrolyte mix and adjust to taste.
  • Add honey or maple syrup if desired and stir to dissolve.
  • Fill a tall glass with ice and pour the mixture over the ice.
  • Top with sparkling water if using.
  • Garnish with a citrus slice and a sprig of fresh mint and serve.

Notes

For storage, mix everything except sparkling water and ice and refrigerate up to 24 hours; shake before serving as collagen can settle. Add sparkling water just before serving to keep fizz. Follow your magnesium product’s serving size. Keep sweetener light to avoid spikes. Variations: add ginger, swap in tart cherry or pomegranate juice, muddle herbs, add adaptogens you tolerate, a dash of cayenne with lime sparkling water, lower sugar by reducing orange juice and using monk fruit, or add a splash of coconut milk for a creamsicle twist.
