  • Sweeten to taste: Stir in simple syrup 1–2 tablespoons at a time. Taste after each addition. You should taste bright citrus with a smooth, tropical finish.
  • Add bubbles before serving: Pour in the chilled lemon-lime soda or sparkling water and give a gentle stir to keep the fizz.
  • Ice and garnish: Fill glasses with ice. Pour the punch over the ice. Garnish with pineapple, cherry, and lime. Add mint for aroma.
  • Double or triple the recipe depending on your crowd size.
  • Add a large ice ring made from pineapple juice and water to keep flavor strong while it chills.
  • Top with soda right before guests arrive.
